Jess Parrish Medical Foundation Elects Melissa E. Lugo as New Board Chair

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (Oct. 29, 2024)—Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF), the philanthropic arm of Parrish Healthcare, announced the election of Melissa E. Lugo as chair of its Board of Directors. Lugo, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Six Sigma Black Belt, is a senior manager of store transformation and innovation at TD Bank.
Dedicated to making a difference in the community, Lugo is past president of Women’s Center North Guild, Riverview Pilot Club and Junior League of Central & North Brevard. In addition to serving as chair of JPMF, she currently serves as Grant Chair for the Riverview Pilot Club and Vice Chair of the Titusville Playhouse.
Other officers and members of the executive board voted into office include Philip Simpson, Ph.D., chair elect; Kelley Broome, vice-chair; Britt Diaz, secretary; Josh Norris, treasurer; Randall Coleman, immediate past chair; and George Mikitarian, ex-officio and Parrish Healthcare president/CEO.
Executive committee members elected include Christopher Broome, Esq; Santiago Bulnes; Jessie Kirk; Jason Snodgrass; Barbara Terhune and Rachel Terry.
Directors elected on the board include Winnie Brewer; William Chivers; Herman Cole; Mary Coleman; David D. Ferguson; Terry Lee; Lisa McAlpine; Jo Lynn Nelson; Dr. Kevat Patel; Howard Rinker, DDS; Joe Rodriguez; Turmy Sieveking; and Jennifer Trastelis.
Jerry Allender, Esq., Dorothy Hudson; Richard Boggs; J.J. Parrish III; and William Terry will continue to serve the Foundation as board members emeritus.
