Parrish Medical Center to Host Gift of Light Community Celebration presented by Norris Automotive

TITUSVILLE, FL (Nov. 2, 2023) Join Parrish Medical Center and Jess Parrish Medical Foundation, Thur., Dec. 7, 5:30-7:30 pm for the Annual Gift of Light Community Celebration presented by Norris Automotive.

The event is FREE and everyone is invited! This holiday tradition that began more than 30 years ago as a humble tree lighting, has grown into an event that attracts thousands. Holiday magic fills the air as everyone delights in the lighting of our spectacular Christmas tree with 37,000 lights.

The grand Christmas tree isn’t the only thing that lights up the night. The breathtaking fireworks display, sponsored by Injury Centers of Brevard and Apogee Physicians, signifies the end of the event while also welcomes the start of the Christmas season. In addition to the amazing light displays,

Gift of Light delights guests with musical and dance performances. This year, entertainment includes, Titusville High School Orchestra, Space Coast Junior/Senior High School Sound Wave, Astronaut High School Jazz Band, The Titusville Playhouse and Keegan Performance Dance Studio. Artistic and Creative Executive Director of the Titusville Playhouse, Steven Heron, will emcee the event.

Held in the park on the Parrish Medical Center campus, the tents and market lighting set an enchanting scene. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a special appearance for photos and to hear Christmas wishes. Children will love visiting Santa’s Workshops for holiday crafts and cookie decorating.

Face painters, a balloon artist, and Santa’s elves make sure guests have a magical, memorable experience. Complimentary hot chocolate, cyder and cookies add to the event’s magic. Back, by popular demand, are eight of the community’s favorite food trucks. Service begins at 4:30 pm.
