PARRISH MEDICAL CENTER AND CIGNA REACH AGREEMENT TO ENSURE CONTINUED ACCESS TO CARE

December 19, 2022 - Parrish Medical Center and Cigna have reached a multi-year agreement that ensures Cigna customers will have continued access to Parrish Medical Center (PMC) and Parrish Medical Group (PMG) physicians for quality health care at affordable, predictable rates. The new agreement is effective immediately.

“While we regret Cigna’s failure to timely and fairly resolve the dispute that resulted in its members suffering unnecessary confusion over potential disruption in service, we are pleased Cigna members will continue to have access to high quality healthcare close to home,” said Parrish Healthcare President/CEO George Mikitarian.

This new agreement ensures peace of mind for the customers mutually served by Parrish Medical Center and Cigna – there will not be any disruption of service and Parrish Medical Center continues as an in-network provider for Cigna customers.
