Jess Parrish Medical Foundation recently held a recognition ceremony to thank Zumpano Patricios & Winker P.A. (ZP&W) for their signature gift of more than $100,000 toward various healing projects focused on future generations.
Over six years ago, ZP&W made their first donation to The Children’s Center and have continued supporting this program and many others to provide brighter futures for the next generation. Because of their gifts, children with and without special needs are receiving services so they can be more successful in school.
ZP&W was a major contributor to the Boy Scout Community House renovations in Mims, FL. Thanks to them, the Scouts now have a safe, healing environment to learn and grow through a program that builds character, trains Scouts in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
Not only has ZP&W supported our children and Boy Scouts, but they have also supported our young teens through a program called Sources of Strength, which teaches teens to identify strengths in their lives and how they can use those in times of need.
Through a combination of passion and compassion, ZP&W is making the lives of children and families in our community better, stronger and healthier. Their hearts led them to reach out to help others and it’s truly an inspiration to all. During the ceremony, they were recognized with a signature glass tile on the Pillar of Honor at Parrish Medical Center which honors them for their generosity and commitment to providing healing experiences and inspiring each of us to make our world a better place.
“It has been an honor to work directly with ZP&W, and see their passion for children and youth through their generosity,” said Misty Wilson, director of Jess Parrish Medical Foundation. “When I look at their signature tile, it represents all the youth in our community served and not passed by; children with special needs and those without; Scouts that have a brighter future; and our teens that are relying on their strengths in times of need.”
