PREPARTICIPATION SPORTS PHYSICALS

On Saturday, May 30, Parrish Medical Group hosted the first of two preparticipation sports physicals for local student athletes at the Parrish Healthcare Center at Port St. John. Staying true to our annual tradition, Parrish Medical Group charged $10 per physical, (well below the average cost), and gave the entire amount back to the school each child attended. One of our most popular events, a total of 138 physicals were completed by a team of physicians and support staff. Many thanks to our champion, Dr. Anthony Allotta, for spearheading this annual event, and to everyone else who pitched in to help support the effort:

The second event will be held on Friday, July 25, from 5-8 PM at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville. The sports physicals will be done in the Rehabilitation Center located just inside the hospital’s main entrance.
